Δν = 2/2 X 2 Δt = 1/2Δt
One of my favorite equations ... it is a written mathematical form of uncertainty principle... It is an important equation that was discovered by German Physicist Werner Heisenberg ... He showed the consequence of quantum mechanics of a wave of particle of matter is impossible to a precise determination of position of a particle and of its velocity. He also showed that it is impossible to determine the exact energy of a system within an instant in time.
We also can re-write it like this: Δν X Δt = 1/2 ... which leads to the frequency of Δν X Δt = 1/2π
ΔE = hΔν
We can obtain the energy of time as ΔE X Δt = h/2π
This is something that I often convey to others because I do love all it represents, and expresses. But why exactly does this happen and why is it? Some people and physicists alike don't have a solid answer for this. But in reality it is quite simple. It implies that nothing is absolute or no particle is definite. It is something that Albert Einstein didn't believe and he failed time and again trying to disprove that notion. Einstein and his arguments were wrong on every occasion. It is undeniable true, he just didn't understand it.
Lets first talk about superposition states; if a quantum system a quantum system can be found in one or more states, A and B, with different properties, it can also be found in combination of them. Each combination is called a superposition state and each is physically different.
Lets understand what this actually means. When physicists talk about 'states'. The one word contains almost the full mystery of quantum theory. The state of a physical system is the configuration at a particular moment. For an example, if a system is something in general like gas substance such as air, its state might consist of the position of all the molecules together with speeds and directions of their motion. In other words, the state consists of all information needed to complete describe a system in an instant in time.
So why is this, and what is up with uncertainty? What does this all mean? The answer is pretty simple.
To understand this we first need to understand the nature of substance and matter/energy. What makes up matter? What makes up a physical system? That would be atoms, I am sure most of you have heard of them? LoL ... I hope so, or else I am seriously questioning modern education and their distribution haha
Okay, here is a conceptual look at an ATOM ...
Of course an Atom doesn't look like this in actuality. Atoms actually doesn't look like anything at all, they have no form, and ARE almost entirely made up of empty-space. It consists of a few ingredients -- quarks and electrons. The quarks are bound together in groups called gluon, which are massless particles of force. The quark particles form the proton and neutron. They are clustered in a compact region in the center of the atom - the nucleus. Most of the rest of atoms are empty space, but moving around the space are electrons. These have a negative charge (opposite to protons and neutrons) and have 0.0 mass.
So why exactly does scientists give them the representation of a circle? This is due to the fact of measurement of the electron and the magnitude of force. The electron moves in a spin position, but electrons also move in every position one can ever imagine, and more. So an atom actually has the form of every shape one could imagine, or no shape or form at all.
So if an indivisible atom have no form or can be any form, how does it obtain shape? Well the structures of atoms are based on two main universal forces, this is based on the behavior of an electron. This is typically known as covalent bond or ionic.
A covalent bond is the sharing of electrons, then other energy configurations come together with the similar motion directions, as they form more, and more, structures and actual shape is found. It is also based on how the atomic structures interact with other structures - outside, like you or me who are observing physical properties.
Ionic is based on the loss or gain of electrons from an atom - if it gains - negative charged atom - if it loses positive charged. It is also based on the nature of electricity.
So why does uncertainty happen? It is very simple - we don't have all the answers including nature itself, it is always changing. David Bohr concluded that when we observe, the moment upon observation of a configuration, the particle has already changed form.
Imagine this, imagine every energy system in the cosmos is always in movement, transforming in every direction possible-- and imagine observing this motion, we only could see a tiny, itter-bitty instruction code of this. Our senses has to translate this information into meaningful pattern. So it is impossible to comprehend the entire structure of anything, just a tiny percentage.
It is all based on the eternal truth of the mystery, which is the center of all that exists. The mystery is always there and has the capacity to have the potential for anything. As we walk on this road, there is what we currently understand
and the mystery, which can convert to any possibility that we can imagine. We are interacting with many forces, and based on how well we interact "forms our realities!!" This cannot be grasp with mere intellect. It can only be experienced with heart, and how we synchronize with many patterns of life. The mystery was never meant to be explained but experiencing all the creative formats that the mystery can produce. This journey is infinite and moves with the eternal shunyata and the Great-Wu of the Great Mystery. \
We are all mortal coils experiencing the eternal oceans of life; this is an infinite journey. Lets not forget that life can shift us in an infinite amount of possibilities. We all have the potential to experience the eternal foundations of life. We can convert into anything, if we choose to do so. So let us do, and express our every desire for creativity and reality. We are in the process of exploring new uncharted worlds, new voyages, and new infinite discoveries. Lets not waste our time on explanations, or what answer is the right one. It is all about how these experiences points us in a new direction towards the possibilities, and makes us all a new. An ever lasting evolution process... and BEYOND!!!
It reminds me of the value and philosophy from the movie -- never ending story. It was about the nothing that was striking their world ... it was reducing their world to nothing. A young boy was chosen, and at the end was pure darkness, except he had one flash of light, and with that light he made many wishes to rebuild that world.
The metaphor that was presented was ... nothing is an illusion created by lack of imagination and creativity. We must use our creative way to re-shape what appears to be 'nothing' and reshape the worlds!! All it takes is one spark of light, and one can achieve an infinite amounts of discovery and the potential to do so.
So embrace the mystery as your ally, and remember everything has the potential of infinite possibilities, based on our own choices we make, and how we react to them, as it reshapes our vision and life.
This concludes that nothing is ever certain, written in stone, definite or is absolute. Life itself is a metaphor that can reshape, transform, and be anything that we can imagine. If we choose so ...
Life is an everlasting exploration, enjoy the ride ;-]
